Job Title:
Licensing Clerk II
Minimum Salary:
$1,560/monthly
Description:
This position is responsible for reviewing licensing papers to determine if required items have been received in order to process new Agents or reinstatement of Agent according to Home Office guidelines.  Requesting items not received from Agents. Verifying information received to ensure all paperwork has been submitted by suing the PC file research.  Ordering investigation reports within required.  Submitting appointments electronically and completing necessary paperwork for contracting, appointment and scanning Agent's file.  Updating the system and communication vial email or correspondence of completion to the Agent or General Agent.  Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications:
  • 1 year of office experience required.
  • 1 year of insurance experience preferred; licensing experience a plus.
  • Good number and name recognition skills.
  • Type 40-45 wpm accurately.
  • Proficient use of the PC, including Outlook, Word, Excel. Other applications helpful.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Good reasoning ability to analyze information and make logical conclusions.
  • Regular and predictable attendance required.
Working Conditions:
Heavy PC usage.  Occasionally bends/stoops and reaches above shoulder level.  Rarely squats, kneels or pushes/pulls.  Occasionally lifts floor to waist, carries and pushes up to 10 pounds.
