Job Title:
Vector Analyst
Minimum Salary:
Commensurate with experience
Description:
It is the responsibility of the Vector Analyst to maintain agent debt reporting, provide information to various companies regarding agents listed on Vector; explain debit balances reported and provide supporting documentation; negotiate settlements and payment plans to resolve debit balances; prepares and audits materials requiring analyses of supporting documents and insures that all entries are entered into the system properly; identifies and resolves problems and inconsistencies, determining appropriate corrective procedures; and adjusts errors and complaints.  This position is also responsible for reconciling reports, sending out collection letters and researching loan balances and submits information to collection agency.  Additional areas of responsibility include processing the Military and Mid-Wood Annuity commission cycles.
Education:
Bachelor's degree or two to four years insurance related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications:
  • Candidates must have previous collections experience
  • Demonstrated mathematical ability
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Basic Word and Excel skills, Access a plus but not required
  • Previous accounting experience and experience working with agents a plus, but not required
Working Conditions:
Occasionally stoop/kneel, lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.  Non-smoking environment.
