Job Title:
Programmer Analyst Client/Server & Web
Minimum Salary:

Description:
This position reports to the Project Manager and is responsible for the design, development, deployment, and support of new and existing applications.  Programmer Analysts participate in all phases of the System Development Life Cycle as needed, applying expert knowledge of system interaction and business familiarity to meet business needs.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or other related or equivalent work experience.
Qualifications:
  • 4+ years experience performing system development and support for transactional client/server or web-based applications.
  • Experience in interfacing client/server or web-based applications with legacy mainframe-based applications.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft development tools: Visual Basic, VB.NET, VB Script, MS SQL Server 2000+, COM+, Web Services, XML, VSS, TFS.
  • Working knowledge of systems development life cycle and use of structured methodologies and techniques.
  • Proven experience in meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once.
  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Insurance industry experience in life, health and annuity a plus.
