| Description: |
| This position reports to the IT Quality Assurance
Manager and is responsible for the planning, development, deployment,
and support of new and existing applications to meet the current and
future needs of the business. Business Analysts participate in all
phases of the System Development Life Cycle except for programming,
applying expert knowledge of system interaction and business familiarity
to meet business needs. |

| Education: |
| Bachelor's degree Computer Science, Business
Administration or other related field or equivalent work experience. |
|
| Qualifications: |
- 3+ years experience performing system development and support
for transactional client/server or web-based applications and/or
mainframe-based applications.
- Familiarity with the capabilities of Microsoft web development
tools and/or mainframe development tools.
- Working knowledge of systems development life cycle and use of
structured methodologies and techniques.
- Proven experience in meeting deadlines and managing multiple
priorities.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Strong technical, analytical and communication skills.
- Insurance industry experience in life, health and annuity a
plus.
