Under the direction of Internal Audit management, the IT Auditor will
develop and perform IT audits of the organizations network and mainframe
systems including risk assessments, compliance review, and process
improvements. Assess dependability of information systems and
associated data. Evaluate operating practices to determine if
controls and security measures are adequate. Design and perform IT
controls testing as related to Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Present
written finds and recommendations.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Work under the direction of Senior Auditor or Manager to
plan and execute IT audits in an efficient, effective
manner and within allotted time budgets.
Ensure audit findings are written in a clear and concise
manner, articulate risk (both business and technology)
and impact on the internal control structure, and
develop solutions and recommendations.
Present findings to Senior Management during audit
closing meetings.
Education & Work Experience:
Bachelor's degree and/or experience in Information
Technology or related field.
IT Audit experience is a plus.
CISA certification and/or willingness to work towards
obtaining.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to interact and effectively
communicate with various levels of the Company, and
present audit findings in a clear and professional
manner.
Excellent analytical and problem
solving with the ability to review and evaluate and IT
operation's overall control environment.
Ability to demonstrate good judgment,
professional skepticism, and a strong learning aptitude
to understand the Company's business processes and
systems.
Sound technical proficiency and the
willingness and ability to learn advanced IT
environments.
Ability work with minimal supervision
and a high level of drive and initiative is expected.
Working Conditions:
Some travel may be required.Work mostly sedentary, heavy PC usage.
