Job Title:
Web Marketing Coordinator

Description:
The position will require the incumbent to provide effective support and become fully knowledgeable with the various business systems used within the company.  He/she will be responsible for supporting the technology needs of the Marketing Department and act as a liaison for other technology needs within the company.
Basic Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the use of technology within the Marketing Department, such as delivering rich-content to websites or other web based applications.
  • Assist the Marketing Department in the creation, implementation, support and maintenance of interactive media strategy including:
    • Websites and application, Agent services, all current and future social networking sites (Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter), Event registration and SEO
  • Analyze on-going business needs and monitor online activities using Google Analytics
  • Collaborate with the VP of Marketing and other Department Managers to plan and implement search engine marketing campaigns
  • Liaison and support to the technology needs of the department, including provisioning of computers, web accounts, and SharePoint.  Occasional network support for servers, printers, file shares, backups, VPN, software updates, e-mail, anti-spam, anti-virus, inventory and monitoring of services
  • Review technology practices and recommend opportunities for improvement
  • Manage support requests or issues in a timely, communicative and effective manner
  • All other duties as assigned
Education:
Post-secondary degree in Information Systems or equivalent
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years industry-related experience
  • Knowledge and experience in interactive marketing a plus
  • Some practical web design or development is an asset, including:
    • Strong HTML/CSS skills, ASP.NET experience, Content Management System experience a plus, IIS knowledge
  • Proven experience using Google Analytics to plan and track marketing campaigns and to generate business-oriented traffic reports to key stakeholders as well as proven success leading SEO campaigns
  • General knowledge of common hardware, software and network environments
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong service orientation and highly motivated self starter a must
