| Description: |
| This position is responsible for the technological
development of department initiatives, including creation and
maintenance of SQL databases and tables, single sign-on agent portal for
the dissemination of product information and sales materials, online
sales of the life and health insurance products, and direct mail support
through online sales. Successful candidate will work
collaboratively with Web Designer as well as delegate and mentor other
department programmers under the direction of the Web Team Coordinator
and Marketing Managers. This position will exclusively support
Marketing Department initiatives and see them through implementation and
maintenance. This position reports the the Web Technology
Marketing Manager and is responsible for the design, development,
deployment and support of new and existing applications.
Programmer Analysts participate in all phases of the System Development
Life Cycle as needed, applying expert knowledge of system interaction
and business familiarity to meet business needs. |

| Education: |
| Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business
Administration or other related field or equivalent work experience. |
|
| Qualifications: |
- 4 + years experience performing system development
and support for transactional client/server or web-based
applications.
- Experience in interfacing client/server or web-based
applications with legacy ASP applications.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft development tools:
Visual Basic, VB.NET, VB Script, MS SQL Server 2000+,
COM+, Web Services, XML, VSS, TFS.
- Working knowledge of systems development life cycle
and use of structured methodologies and techniques.
- Proven experience in meeting deadlines and managing
multiple priorities.
- Strong technical, analytical and communication
skills.
- Experience in an advertising agency a plus.

| Working Conditions: |
| Rarely bends/stoops and occasionally reaches above
shoulder level. Continuously lifts waist to overhead and floor to
waist and carries up to 10 pounds. Heavy PC usage and some
overtime. |
