Description:

The Quality of Business Manager’s primary job duties revolve around extracting/analyzing data and communicating findings to Executive Management so they can make informed business decisions.  This position will also act as an internal consultant by collecting quantitative and qualitative feedback to identify areas for improvement. This role combines business thinking, analytical skills, statistical methods, and technical expertise to perform information analysis and decision support.  By conducting analysis of product and customer data and translating these data into effective business intelligence, this position has a direct impact on the company’s ability to effectively provide measures of business performance and identify opportunities to contribute to help drive revenue, profit and market share gains through recommendations to the executive team.  

This position will also:

·    Assist in special projects and quantitative analysis to identify changing trends in the business;

·    Develop and test hypotheses about customer and agent behavior to identify profitable growth opportunities;

·    Collaborates with other teams to identify new data/reporting and analysis needs;

·    Perform weekly/monthly analysis of baseline reporting, highlighting changes in trends, or significant shifts;

·    Suggest topics for further analysis; and

·    Manages and trains the Staff within all areas of the Quality of Business team.


The successful candidate will be capable of analyzing quantitative data, trends, and company strategies and consolidating information into actionable items, reports and presentations directly for Executive Management Team. Additionally, the employee must be proficient at multi-tasking. The ability to manage several research reports and projects under strict timelines is imperative. A key goal of this position will be to harness the value of the extensive data repository maintained in multiple departments to identify strengths, weaknesses and opportunities to increase revenue and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Education:
  • Bachelor degree in Business/Marketing, Statistics or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent work experience in business intelligence, marketing, and/or a related analytical role, with proven analytical skills considered.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to analyze raw data and disseminate results, with ability to think logically and process sequentially with a high level of detailed accuracy.
  • Ability to focus on integrity of information in reports that assist in business decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to recognize new and emerging fraud schemes, and apply to current processes.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills, with an ability to determine appropriate content and style for a diverse group.
  • Ability to proficiently use Microsoft Office tools; read, analyze, and incorporate secondary data; and analyze data tabulations are critical skills in this role.
  • Ability to work independently and operate effectively within a team environment.
  • Must be a visionary as well as an analytical thinker with a proven track record in successfully building highly effective teams and implementing best practices in a fast paced environment.
