United American Insurance Company is seeking outgoing people and friendly voices for part-time evening and weekend shifts at our outbound call center in McKinney, TX located in Stonebridge Ranch.  There is no cold calling and no sales.  Flexible schedules available and we offer a business casual dress work environment.  Hours are Monday - Thursday 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am - 12:00 pm; 16 hours per week.

Primary duties & responsibilities consist of:

• Conduct outbound calls and receive inbound calls and determine the proper action needed.
• Record information and maintain the procedures and policies of this department.
• Work in the database to make proper assessments on contracts requested by customers.
• Explain benefits and complete necessary paperwork.
• Assist with customer correspondence and error corrections for policy service.
• Other projects/duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• Some insurance experience preferred.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrate math aptitude
• Some medical terminology preferred
• Proficient PC skills with an emphasis in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to analyze information and make logical conclusions
• Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure
• Must be customer friendly
• Must have the desire to learn new tasks and take on additional responsibilities

Heavy phone and PC usage, sitting for extended periods of time, reaches above shoulder level and some overtime may be required.  We provide comprehensive training at the starting rate of $10.25 per hour.  After the training period you will go to a piece rate.  Our top performers are making up to $14 per hour!
