Every year, the National Association of Insurance
Commissioners (NAIC) issues a report reviewing Medicare Supplement
activity over the past year. The report details company earnings, claims,
loss ratios, and other pertinent Med-Supp data. One portion of the report of
particular importance is a list of Medicare Supplement providers by direct
premiums earned. This report indicates which companies wrote the most
business for a particular year.
At United American, we are pleased to announce the NAIC has
listed UA as one of the largest writers of Agent-sold, individual Medicare Supplement policies for 2007
(see chart below).
