Medicare HMO Publicity Brings Chance of a Lifetime to Everyone’s Door

I have no doubt that United American and its Exclusive Agencies are preparing for what will be the most productive times in their histories. The dozens of e-mails I receive from the field each week are proof that we are ready to bring a large majority of Seniors, who made an ill-fated decision to join a Medicare HMO, back to traditional Medicare with a UA Med-Supp policy. Certainly those who have read the hundreds of communiqués that I have sent to your Branch Managers are well aware of just how excited I am about the opportunity that lies in front of us. And the responses I receive from the field only work to increase that level of excitement.

I hope that some of you don’t miss this powerful locomotive as it pulls a freight train of ever-increasing production.

Truly, these are the best days for opportunity in our lives - for everyone. It doesn’t matter where you are. Some states have tens of thousands of Seniors leaving HMOs, while others have a few thousand or none at all. The greatest part of this nationwide opportunity is that the number of disenrolling Medicare HMO Seniors has much less of an effect than does the general concerns about healthcare that all Seniors now have. Our true opportunity is better than the nearly one million Seniors whose HMOs have left them - much, much, better. The greatest part is that the opportunity has proven to be available everywhere, as evidenced by UA’s own figures.

What, you say? Should we not be excited about the nearly one million new prospects the Medicare HMO withdrawals have created? Yes! Absolutely! We should! Are we? Unequivocally! But what if I told you that there are many more than one million prospects? What if I told you that there are 32 million new prospects? Would your excitement level increase by 32 times? It should! It’s time to get excited - 32 times as excited - because I’m telling you that there are 32 million new prospects throughout the country right now! That’s right, almost every Senior is an exceptional prospect right now! As proof, lead counts have risen dramatically in all geographic areas, whether through HMO disenrollments or not (see Page 4).

Why? The media attention this topic has garnered has been astounding. It’s nationwide. Dan Rather to Ted Koppel; Paul Harvey to Larry King; Al Gore to George W. Bush; Dennis Miller, comedian/sportscaster to Dennis Miller, RHU/Branch Manager - they are all talking about Medicare and the state of Senior managed healthcare. It’s everywhere! And that makes every one of the 32 million Seniors in the United States a new prospect.

The point is, whether affected by disenrollments or not, Seniors around the country are concerned with their healthcare. They are concerned because they don’t know about United American. They don’t know that UA has no gatekeeper service. They don’t know about UA’s hassle-free "Automatic" Claims Filing. They don’t know about UA’s 53 years of service to Seniors. They don’t know about UA’s rock solid Triple A financial ratings. Don’t forget, “WEISS KNOWS,” and so should Seniors!

Are you excited? Are you 32 times more excited than you were yesterday? You should be. The opportunity is there. It’s up to you to make it happen.
